The first smart pedal vehicle

The foundation of what we do is a holistic understanding of digitalization, the environment, urbanization and human well-being. For us, the mocci Smart Pedal Vehicles (SPV) are the perfect combination of these elements: We combine smart hardware with smart software to create a new ride experience that enables safe, fully connected and long-term mobility. Always with the claim to live up to our name: mocci is a neologism from Chinese and means "magic ride".

SMART HARDWARE

We have not only reinvented the bicycle, we have developed a whole new class of vehicle: Smart Pedal Vehicles (SPV). Here, the pedals of the mocci Smart Pedal Vehicle drive a generator that produces the energy for the electric motor in the rear wheel - without any chain or belt. Additional support is provided by the replaceable, high-performance battery.

Instead of steel or aluminum frames, we rely on a construction made of a recyclable high-performance plastic. The wheels consist of only one structural component. Our own components are readily available, developed and produced in Germany. The combination of fewer components and the elimination of mechanical power transmission ensures a safe and low-maintenance system.

With less downtime and a long service life, this offers tremendous benefits for commercial customers. But the SPV also has many hidden benefits: it is digital, fully networked and customizable to each driver. It is suitable for many different industries, for example, it can be used for transporting food, in logistics, or even as a campus or fleet vehicle.

The software is based on a holistic hardware platform and can bring much more direct and relevant added value. We develop smart vehicles for the mobility needs of the future.  

A smart vehicle puts the user and his needs in the foreground. The software not only supports the use of the vehicles, but also service, analysis and fleet management.  

In terms of road safety, the software can control preventive maintenance cycles so that a vehicle always functions reliably. In this way, the system learns and adapts to the driver every time. Another important point is certainly the theft protection through a system control via the own mocci APP.

In Bezug auf Verkehrssicherheit kann die Software präventive Wartungszyklen steuern damit ein Fahrzeug immer zuverlässig funktioniert.  So lernt das System und passt sich jedes Mal dem Fahrer an. Ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt ist sicher die Diebstahlsicherung durch eine Systemsteuerung über die eigene mocci APP.
